Porte-cartes en cuir faits main

Slim, front-pocket card wallets, cut and hand saddle-stitched one at a time in my Kansas shop. If you carry a handful of cards and the occasional folded bill, a card wallet does the job without the bulk of a bifold.

The Morgan is my signature card wallet — four top pockets and two hidden ones — made in Rocado shell cordovan (Museum Cognac, Jungle Green) and in full grain leather (Tobacco Pueblo, Bread & Wine Vacchetta). The Randall is an even slimmer full grain option with four card slots and a cash slot, and The Milton carries cards front and back with a middle slot for bills.

Shell cordovan doesn't crease — it rolls and develops a deep shine. Full grain darkens and builds a patina quickly. Either way, every one is hand-stitched, edge-finished by hand, and will look better in five years than it does today. Weighing the two leathers? Read full grain vs. shell cordovan.
